By Plane: North Cyprus has Ercan International airport. It is possbile to get flights from the UK and major European countries to Northern Cyprus. The flights are with a an hour touchdown in Turkey but you don't usually change the aircraft.
It is also possible to fly into Larnaca and Paphos airports in the south Cyprus and then cross the border to North Cyprus. Nicosia city has three crossing points. If you are crossing the border in a car then you should use Metehan located to the west of Nicosia city centre. Ledra Palace and Lokmaci (The Ledra Street) are foot crossing points.
If you are travelling to Famagusta then you can use Akyar crossing point on the Larnaca – Famagusta road.
Border crossing procedure between South and North Cyprus is easy. You only need your passports, and will be provided a paper to fill which is used as 90 day visa.
By Ferry: There are regular Ferry services from Turkey to North Cyprus. The ferries depart from Tasucu, Mersin, as well as Alanya during summer months.
